Tsanzo (not his real name) learned how to read people’s minds to survive on the streets long before he learned how to solve a simple mathematical question.
Tsanzo was once a master of the streets. He learned that deception and shrewdness were the difference between going to sleep hungry every night or continuing to survive. He knew which shopkeepers would give a few coins, and which paths and corners to avoid after dark.
But now, with King’s Kids help, he chose to settle back home and return to prinary school.
“I owe everything to you for making me realise that thug life would have led to more misery, pain and probably my early death if I had not abandoned it and gone back home and enrol in school.”
